Who runs it

The prize wheel is run by Karen Pretorius, trading as Elite Wedding Society, 13 Vaal Drive, Le Voila Complex, Sylviavale, Vanderbijlpark, contact info@eliteweddingsociety.co.za. Each prize is given by the business named next to it, which also delivers it. A copy of these rules is available free of charge to anyone who asks.

Who can spin

Couples with a free Elite Wedding Society account who are planning a wedding, are 18 or older and live in South Africa. Not the staff of Elite Wedding Society or of a prize's sponsor, or their immediate families.

Spins

Each couple account gets one spin when it's created, and one more when the couple's wedding website is published. That's two at most. Spinning costs nothing, and nothing is ever asked in return.

How the result is decided

When you spin, our server draws a random number and compares it with the chances below. The wheel on the page only shows that result. While prizes are available, 40% of spins win a prize, shared between the prizes in proportion to the number shown for each, and the rest land on “next time”. If the prize a spin lands on was won by someone else a moment before, the spin counts as “next time”.

Prizes

Every prize is free to use: winners never have to buy anything or pay anything to receive it. A prize can't be exchanged for cash or passed on. When you win, we email you a prize code and send the prize's sponsor your name, email address and wedding date so they can arrange it with you. Please arrange it within 60 days. If a sponsor can't deliver, we arrange a prize of the same value or more.

Records and your information

We keep a record of every spin and its chances for three years, as the Consumer Protection Act requires, and then delete it. We use your details only to run the wheel and deliver prizes. The Privacy page explains the rest.

Changes

Prizes are added when vendors offer them and leave the wheel when they run out or reach their end date. We can close the wheel by saying so on this page; spins already made are honoured. Questions or complaints: info@eliteweddingsociety.co.za.
